These are Fire polished glass beads from the Czech Republic. They are 4mm and faceted.
These 4mm Fire Polished beads are sold by the 6" (15cm) strand. Each strand has approximately 50 beads. The hole is approximately .5mm.
Fire polished beads are used in a wide variety of projects such as strung necklaces and bracelets, in earrings and fringe, and in bead loom weaving. They are also used to edge bead embroidery projects.
