Hematite

Hematite is a form of Iron Oxide. It can range in colors from black, silver-steel to reddish brown. It is often coated with metallic or AB finishes.

When it is highly polished, it can have a metallic finish. Natural Hematite is not magnetic.

Hematite has a Mohs hardness rating of 5 - 6.5. Hematite is thought to symbolize strength, protection and resilence.
