Iolite

Iolite is a gemstone that is a form of the mineral Cordierite. It is found in parts of Africa,Sri Lanka and Brazil.

Iolite is generally deep blue to violet, semi-transparent and reflects light when held at different angles.

Iolite has a rating of 7-7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. It is thought to promote inner vision and to guide you on journeys.
