Jade

Jade is a gemstone term for two types of silicate minerals, nephrite or jadeite. It is typically green, although more rare forms can include black, blue, white and lavender.

Jade is prized for its long history of ornamental use in Asian and South American cultures. It is thought to be connected to the heart chakra and enhance love, compassion and personal growth.

Most Jade is a 6 - 7 on the Mohs hardness scale.
