Silk on a Needle by Griffin is wonderful for knotting pearls or semi-precious stones. Each package of silk is 2 meters long (6 ft. 6") and has a wire needle already attached.
The higher the size number on the package, the thicker the silk is. Try to match the silk size to the size of the bead hole you are using. Here are the sizes for reference:
Size 1 - .35mm
Size 2 - .45mm
Size 3 - .5mm
Size 4 - .6mm
Size 5 - .65mm
