Sinew (artificial)

Artificial sinew is made from waxed nylon. It is often used in basketry.

This artificial sinew is sold in a 1 oz. spool. Each spool has approximately 34 yards (102 feet/10.5 meters). 

This sinew is 5 ply. It is often split to use in basket weaving, jewelry making and dream catchers.

It can be purchased in dark brown or natural color (light brown).
