Vaseline Glass - African Trade Beads

These beads are vaseline glass that are over 200 years old. Vaseline glass is traditionally green or yellow and glows a vibrant green under a black light. These are more opaque than the transparent emerald color more commonly seen. These beads range in size from 12mm to 14mm (the size of a dime to a nickel) and all have at least a 1.5mm opening. If bought in pairs, an attempt will be made to match beads in colors and size. Please allow for variation in colors and size as these are all antique and unique.
